Gadget

"The Gadget" was the code-name given to the first nuclear device developed by the Manhattan Project. It was detonated at 5:29:45 am on July 15, 1945 at the Trinity Site, New Mexico. It was an implosion-type plutonium device, similar in design to the "Fat Man" bomb, and had a yield of 19 kilotons.
